The Do's and Dont's of Aquaholics.

Can I bring children on board?

Yes, you may bring children on board if they remain outside and are well behaved. For safety reasons we can’t allow children to run in & out of boat and they will need your supervision at all times.  It is our policy that all children will require a life jacket when on board of which we can supply.

What shoes can I wear?

We have a strict policy of no shoes on board for both safety and maintenance reason.  You will be asked on arrival to remove your shoes and we will store them for the duration of your experience..

How many people can I book?

The boat comfortably accommodates 10 people. There are facilities to house 8 people on the upper deck.  Should you wish to book for more than 10 people, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Can we bring our own food and drink on board?

No, but we do have a fully stocked paybar onboard.  Please contact us to discuss your exact requirements prior to your booking, there may be something specific you are looking for.

Unfortunately, we do not allow red wine to be consumed onboard.

Can I stay on board?

Yes, we offer on experience where you can stay onboard overnight.  Please contact us to discuss the details of your stay.

Can you smoke on the boat?

Conventional smoking is not allowed on Aquaholics.  We will allow the use of Vape and E cigarettes, in open well-ventilated areas only.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, you can bring your dog onboard free of charge. As long as they are clean, well trained and they remain outside.  Pets on the boat are strictly at the owner's risk and we would ask you to take full responsibility for any damage that could occur to the boat, due to your dog being onboard.  Please note dogs are not allowed on seats or inside the main cabin.

What is the deposit for and how is it returned?

We take a security deposit to ensure that our yacht is treated with respect by your party during your excursion.  This damages deposit helps to ensure that all guests leave our craft in the same condition as it was when you are welcomed on-board.  This benefits you and future guests.

Subject to no breakages or damages, this deposit will be refunded to you with 48 hours of your trip with us.

Can I go for a swim?

Yes, you may go swimming as long as the boat is stationary, and the engines are switched off.  If you are unsure, just asked the crew for guidance.  The boat is equipped with shower facilities on the swim deck for your use after water based activities.  Should you wish to partake in any water activities, these are not part of our experience and therefore you do so at your own risk.

Can I jump off the boat?

You can jump off the boat only when the boat is stationary and the engines are off.  This will need to be monitored by a crew member to ensure your safety and that of our boat.  It is not recommended as you can never know what items have washed into the river and therefore if you do so, it is entirely at your own risk.

How safe is the boat?

Aquaholics has passed an independent examination of the safety requirements set out in the Boat Safety Scheme (BSS), a statutory requirement for all boats registered for river use with the Environment Agency. In the unlikely event of an emergency please follow instructions from your skipper. Buoyancy aids or lifejackets are available to all passengers on request. Children aged 3 years or younger must wear a buoyancy aid at all times and we recommend children aged 4-14 also wear buoyancy aids or lifejackets.  You have the option to choose not to wear a lifejacket, this can we agreed with the crew at the start of your experience with us.

What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

You can cancel your booking and receive a full refund up to 72 hours in advance of your trip. No refunds are given for cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice.  At the discretion of the crew cancellations within 72 hours may be moved to an alternative date, subject to circumstances and availability.

What happens if the weather isn’t great on the day?

If the weather prohibits the trip, we are more than happy to reschedule the trip for another day. It is our responsibility to ensure you are safe at all times, but we also want you to have a trip you will never forget. Therefore, should we feel the weather is not suitable we will give you as much notice as possible and prioritise your re-booking.

What is your accessibility policy?

We regret to say there is no step free access on our boat to accommodate wheelchairs. We do however have a big jetty so in some cases we may be able to support individuals.  Please contact us for assistance prior to your trip, we will endeavour to accommodate you.

Aquaholics, whilst large, has not got the facilities to be specially adapted for wheelchair users or those with severely restricted mobility.

Do you cater for food allergies?

Yes, please advise us of any allergies that may affect you or your guests in advance of your experience.  Please give us as much notification as possible.
